Twas' the night before Christmas...

When all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung, by the chimney with care
In hopes that St. Nicholas would soon be there.

What a difference a year makes...

We are so unbelievable excited this year to watch Joseph unwrap his Christmas gifts from Santa and Mommy and Daddy. So far, he's done extremely well with the Christmas tree, and hasn't bothered the presents at all. He has however, removed an ornament here and there a couple of times and loves pointing at the balls, (for that reason all of the breakable ornaments have been moved to the top half of the tree). Joseph loves "Oooh-ing" and "Aww-ing" the Christmas tree, and every time we plug the lights in he says, "Whoooooooaaa!" We've driven through a couple of good neighborhoods where we live to look at the Christmas lights, and the entire time we do that, Joseph sounds like a broken record saying "Whoa" over and over, it's too cute!

Spaghetti dinner = Bathtime

Here's the somewhat aftermath of what looks like a spaghetti explosion! Don't let all the noodles on his shirt fool you, this boy eats spaghetti likes there's no tomorrow :o)

We are Thankful!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year at Scott and Ashley's. We are thankful to have our health, great family and friends and lots of awesome holiday food!

Everyone seemed to enjoy the karaoke, even the kids!

Here's Grandpa reading to Joseph and Caroline.

18 months and counting...

Where has the time gone? I cannot believe that a year and a half ago we welcomed this sweet baby boy into our lives. He has gone from a sweet little baby, to a little rough and tumble toddler that is full of personality.

Today was such a nice day that we decided to take him to the park down the street. Here he is playing peek-a-boo with mommy, or shall I say with the camera.

He's really starting to enjoy playing with his cars and even makes the "vroom vroom" sound.

Monkey see, Monkey do, Happy Halloween to you!

This year Joseph was the cutest little monkey ever! We decided to take him out for trick-or-treating and he had so much fun. He got the hang of it quickly, and mommy and daddy got to eat the treats! Last year he was a scarecrow and easily sat and posed for pictures, this year not so much. I cannot believe how much he's changed and grown in a year.

Here is vintage Joseph circa 2008.

Pumpkin Patch

We had so much fun at the pumpkin patch this year with Joseph. He loved looking at all of the pumpkins and walking through the corn maze!
